AUCKLAND (3 Nights)
Queen City

Day 1 — Arrive in Auckland, Gateway to New Zealand. This is the largest city, as well as the commercial and industrial center of this spectacular country. In contrast you will enjoy the greenness and uncrowded atmosphere as it spreads over the narrow isthmus with two harbors and distinctive volcanic cones.

Day 2 — Auckland has a fine selection of courses, today tackle Titirangi GC, designed by Dr. MacKenzie, it is New Zealand’ s most famous course. It has the best selection of par threes in the country, set amongst native and exotic trees. After golf you might like to take a harbor cruise for a panoramic view of this lovely city.

Day 3 — Golf will be played on Muriwai GC, the Pebble Beach of New Zealand. This is the only true links course in Auckland, a testing course in the true Scottish tradition. Afterwards, maybe visit the summit of Mt. Eden for a panoramic view of the city, the scenic Waterfront Drive, the War Memorial Museum and more.

Day 4 — Time to Depart.

 

ROTORUA (3 Nights)
Thermal Wonderland

Day 1 — Welcome to Rotorua, with towering geysers, bubbling mud pools and the cultural center for the Maori, the native people of New Zealand. This evening you may want to attend a Hangi — a traditional Maori dinner, followed by a concert with chants and action songs which tell stories of Maori mythology and life.

Day 2 — Golf one of the world’ s most unique courses, Arikikapakapa, where thermal activity occurs within the playing area. After golf visit Rainbow Springs, where you can feed trout at arm’ s length, and the Agrodome to see sheep displays.

Day 3 — Road signs warn: “Beware of the Steam” as you skirt the shores of Lake Taupo on your way to Wairakei International — considered to be New Zealand’s best course. Beware of the 14th, known as ‘ the Rogue’ after a violent thermal crater which erupted during construction.

Day 4 — Depart this unique golfing area!

 

CHRISTCHURCH (3 Nights)
Garden City

Day 1 — Arrive in Christchurch, often called “more English than England.” Here you find a blend of modern and traditional architecture. Enjoy wandering around this picturesque city.

Day 2 — A round is planned for you at Russley GC, with fairways lined by huge pine trees, always in excellent condition. This course has played host to many national championships. Continue sightseeing around the city and the Canterbury Plains.

Day 3 — A second shot at the Christchurch courses, either the Shirley GC, home club for Bob Charles, or Waitikiri GC, famous for its trees and flowering shrubs.

Day 4 — Depart this beautiful city for your next destination.

 

QUEENSTOWN (3 Nights)
Tourist Capital of the South

Day 1 — Queenstown is truly one of nature’ s scenic gems! You will find yourself beside a glacial lake and flanked by majestic mountains—the Remarkables!

Day 2 — Today marvel at the scenic beauty of Kelvin Heights GC on the shores of Lake Wakatipu. The course abounds with trees adding to the beauty of the setting. OR — Millbrook GC designed by Bob Charles and the only resort golf course in New Zealand.

After golf there are other activities: jetboat rides, helicopter sightseeing, cable car experience, and more.

Day 3 — You may want to play an optional round, or maybe take a trip to Milford Sound and visit the fijord area of New Zealand.

Day 4 — Time to leave this splendid setting!
