IMPERIAL CITIES (8 Days)
DAY 1 Arrive in Casablanca, the economic capital of the kingdom. You will be met and assisted with arrival formalities.
DAY 2 Begin your day with a tour of Casablanca, chief commercial port and largest city in the Kingdom. This modern, bustling metropolis also boasts endless beaches and delightful restaurants.
After lunch depart for Rabat, the capital of the Kingdom of Morocco. Rabat is the official residence of the King and the center of all government activities. Visit the Medina, the Kasbah of the Oudayas, Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V.
DAY 3 Depart for Moulay Idriss where the founder of Islam in Morocco is buried and then to the Roman ruins at Volubilis. Travel to Meknes, the second of the Imperial Cities. After lunch explore Meknes, enclosed by 25 miles of triple walls with bastions, see the ramparts, the monumental gates of Bab Mansour and other highlights before continuing to Fes.
DAY 4 A full day of sightseeing in mysterious Fez, oldest of the Imperial Cities. Founded in 808 AD by Idriss II, Fez quickly became the preeminent city of northwest Africa. Today it is the spiritual, cultural, and educational center of the country. Visit the Attarine, Nejarine Fountain, Karaounine Mosque and a typical lunch in the Medina, the oldest part of the city.
This afternoon visit the famous souks and test your bargaining skills – maybe find an incredible buy! Morocco is well known for its fine leather, silver and gold jewelry, carpets and inlaid wood objects.
DAY 5 Early departure through the Middle Atlas region, berber villages and the ski resort of Ifrane to Beni Mellal. After lunch continue your journey, this is where you will notice a change in scenery; the earth is red, the sky clear blue and palm trees everywhere. Arrive in Marrakech, the fourth and greatest of the Imperial Cities.
DAY 6 Full day to explore the ‘Pearl of the South’, gateway to the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara. Founded in the 11th century it is an oasis of perfumed gardens and palm trees enclosed in rose-colored walls. Visit the important monuments, Saadian Tombs, Djemaa-el Fna Square where fortune tellers, acrobats, vendors, snake charmers and magicians put on a never-ending show. Special dinner with folklore entertainment.
DAY 7 Your morning at leisure to shop and explore. This afternoon depart for Casablanca.
DAY 8 Depart for your next adventure.

THE GREAT SOUTH AND KASBAHS (8 Days)
For those who would like to explore deeper into Morocco and the kasbahs of the south we have an escorted itinerary traveling by Land Rover, departing from Marrakech.
DAY 1 Arrive in Marrakech where you will be transferred to your hotel.
DAY 2 Full day to explore the ‘Pearl of the South’, gateway to the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara.
DAY 3 This morning depart, via Taddert and the Tizin Tichka Pass in the heart of the Atlas Mountain chain. Visit the berber village of Air Ben Haddou. After lunch in Ouarzazate continue on to Zagora. Take an excursion to Tamgroute, a religious center known by its rich library, with rare books and documents, some written on gazelle hide from the 13th century.
DAY 4 Depart Zagora traveling via Tazzarine to Alnif. After lunch an excursion to the Holy City of Rissani, capital of Tafilalet, and stronghold of the Alaouite dynasty. Continue on to Erfoud.
DAY 5 An excursion to the village of Merzouga, famous for its dunes where you can appreciate a delightful sunrise. Return for breakfast.
Depart for a visit to a real 17th century Kasbah and the ruins of Ksar Abbar. After lunch continue pass kasbahs and palm groves for Tineghir, once a garrison of the French Foreign Legion.
DAY 6 Depart Tineghir, via the Dades Valley, lined with oases, to El Kelaa des M’gouna, a resort of roses where the annual festival of roses is held. Continue on to Ouarzazate. After lunch explore Ouarzazate and the kasbahs of Taouirit.
DAY 7 Depart the desert and the mountains via Taddert and the Tizin Tichka Pass to the palm groves and serenity of the pink city of Marrakech.
DAY 8 Depart the land of the kasbahs.
